大溪國小座落在大溪部落，位於臺東縣太麻里鄉南端，大竹高溪下游左岸，原稱為大得吉（Tjatjigel），為一排灣族部落。日治時期改稱大溪，並陸續移入漢人，以及少數自豐里、都蘭、馬蘭與關山移入阿美族人。

本特展特別與臺東地區以阿美族與排灣族學童為主之小學合作，引導學生以史前陶容器為靈感進行創作，引發其視覺、觸覺、美感上對陶容器的感受力。

We have cooperated with different schools in Taitung to facilitate the Amis and Paiwan students in creating their own artwork using the inspiration of pottery vessels from prehistoric Taiwan.
